Ledger is my favourite hardware wallet. It supports a lot of cryptocurrencies, and it’s easy to use and secure. I’ve been using it for a few years, and I’ve never had any problems with it.
My first Ledger was the Nano X, but I switched recently to the Nano S Plus. Why?
I think the Ledger Nano S Plus is more than enough for most people who want to store their cryptocurrencies securely.
- The Nano S Plus has the same level of security.
- It supports the same features.
- It has the same capacity as the Nano X.
- It does not have Bluetooth, which makes it more secure. I have never used Bluetooth on my Nano X, so I do not need it.
- It has no battery, so I do not need to worry about charging it. I have never used the Nano S Plus without a computer, so I do not need a battery.
- The less hardware, the less chance of failure. The Nano S Plus does not have Bluetooth or a battery, so it is less likely to break.
- It’s cheaper.
- You can buy two Nano S Plus for the price of one Nano X. You can use one as a backup.
You can buy and use the Nano X. It’s a great device if you need to use the Bluetooth connection or use it on the go. But if you don’t need those options, the Nano S Plus is a better choice in my opinion. It doesn’t make sense to pay for something you don’t use.
What about the new Nano Stack? It looks great, but I don’t use NFTs, and I don’t need to display them on my wallet. I don’t need the features it has.
Once again, all Ledger devices are great, but I need the hardware wallet to securely store my cryptocurrencies. The Nano S Plus is the best choice for me.
