What if you're the only real person in your internet bubble?
Your internet bubble is the part of the web you keep seeing. Familiar people, topics you care about, and recommendations based on what you click. There’s a lot outside it that never reaches you.
I wonder how AI might change that.
Imagine scrolling through posts, reading comments, and having conversations that seem normal. Except the people behind them slowly disappear. The accounts are still there, but AI writes everything.
At some point, you might be the only real person left in your bubble.
You’d still have plenty to read and someone to reply to. Everything could fit your interests, or whatever the companies running the platforms wanted you to see.
I’m not saying this will happen. It’s just a thought I can’t quite shake. How would you know how many real people were still there?
