WebStorm is still my favorite. I just code less.

I still think JetBrains’ WebStorm is the best way to code. But I’m starting to think that coding is no longer the best way to build software.

After using Codex, Claude, and Cursor desktop apps, my workflow has changed:

  • AI writes the code.
  • I coordinate the agents.
  • I review the work.
  • I make the decisions.
  • I control what gets merged.

Junie may be the best way to bring agents into an IDE. But for now, the AI-first workflow wins.

I don’t want a better autocomplete. I want to automate the coding and stay in control.
